Our Team

One definition of a team is, “a small number of people with complementary skills who are equally committed to a common purpose, goal, and working approach for which they hold themselves mutually accountable.” Because some members of our teams may be physically separated by time and/or space,  often interacting electronically, we define our team as a group of people connected electronically who share a common understanding of their mission, have the best skills for fulfilling that mission, and are committed to working together to accomplish that mission. Because the Adventures Marketing team is not limited to just a single geographic location you get the best, most cost effective Team working on your account. Our Teams feature the following characteristics:

  • Groups of people are not automatically teams. At Adventures Marketing, we specialize in building the best Teams for each client. Groups become Teams when they own and commit to a common purpose, develop a common approach or method on how they will work together to accomplish that purpose, and hold themselves accountable for the outcome. Teams solve problems and make decisions jointly. Our team members are mutually accountable for producing measurable results for you!
  • Team Members are carefully selected for the best match with a client & project. You are not stuck with any employee. Your team will have the best mix of skills for your needs.
  • Team members may be dispersed geographically. Some team members may be distributed around the United States or around the world.
  • Virtual teams choose to work together, eliminating problems associated with larger organizations. There is no “deadwood,” no middle management, no company politics - none of the fear-based issues associated with employees. So you get only the best people, people committed to doing their best for you.
  • Today’s best and brightest talents are already eschewing the corporate lifestyle and working from home. This phenomenal growth in telecommuting makes it essential to link up into virtual teams to provide the best, most cost-effective talent for our clients.
  • Our teams are supported by both hardware and software. Hardware requirements include telephones, PCs, broadband Internet connections, etc. Software requirements include groupware products such as electronic mail, meeting facilitation software, and group time management systems.
  • The benefits of our teams include:
    • People can work from anywhere at anytime.
    • People can be recruited for their competencies, not just physical location.
    • Many physical handicaps are not a problem.
    • Expenses associated with travel, lodging, parking, payroll, taxes and leasing an office may be reduced or eliminated. Reducing our operating costs helps us make our services more cost-effective for our clients.
